Our story starts out with the gang in the Saffron City Poekmon Center.
"Hey Tori, which Pokemon do you own, anyway?" Ozzie inquired.
"Okay, I have a Pidgeotto named Joey, a Pikachu named Ray, and a Metapod, named Mary,"Tori said, answering his question.
"Your Pokemon are fighting fit. We hope to see you again," said Nurse Joy. Just then, ZZZZaaaapppp! There was a flicker of light, as they died out.
"What? What's going on," Mewtwo cried, "Nurse Joy, is there a back-up generator?"
In a matter of seconds, they had the problem under control. It seems a Pokemon was detected in the wiring, but he had left no faster then he had arrived. Soon, our travelers were at the doors to Sabrina's gym.
"We're here, finally," exclaimed Tori. "Let's go inside."
In the gym, Ozzie sent out Water Boy against Sabrina's Mr. Mime.
"Mr. Mime, use your Disable," came the cries of the gym leader of psychic Pokemon.
"Evade its attack with Bubble-Beam," said Ozzie. Mr. Mime fainted.
"Go, Abra. Use Psychic," Sabrina said.
"Water Boy, use Bubble. That ought to do the trick." Abra fainted after that.
"Congratsulations, Ozzie. Here is the Rainbow Badge to show you beat me. Huh? What's going on?" Then, after a flicker of lights, the same Haunter from the Pokemon Center appeared in the Saffron Gym.
"What? Where did this Wartortle come from? Water Boy evolved into Wartortle! Cool!" said Ozzie.
"Mary, go! Ooopps! That was stupid. I choose you, Joey. Use Wing-Attack." The Haunter fainted. "Pokeball, go! Yes! I caught a Haunter!"
As our group travels on, they hope to meet many new and exciting people, and have many more battles and badges. Check back soon!
